How to Remove Toilet Bowl Lime Stains

    • 1). Flush the toilet, letting it refill with clean water.

    • 2). Pour 5 cups of white vinegar into the toilet bowl.

    • 3). Put the lid down on the bowl, which will allow the vinegar to do its job in dissolving the lime deposits.

    • 4). Let the vinegar sit in the toilet bowl for at least three hours, or overnight when possible.

    • 5). Lift the lid on the toilet bowl and scrub the stains with the toilet scrub brush. Notice the lime scale stains will easily rub away.

    • 6). Place a pair of cleaning gloves on your hands, and saturate a handful of paper towels with pure white vinegar.

    • 7). Scrub any remaining lime stains with the wet paper towels, then rinse the toilet and flush once more.
