- 1). Take the luggage outside. Open it and brush it inside and out with a nylon-bristle scrub brush. This should remove mold spores from the surface of the fabric. Do this outdoors so that you don't scatter the mold inside your home.
- 2). Fill a clean spray bottle with white vinegar.
- 3). Spray the luggage inside and out with the vinegar. Spray enough vinegar to saturate the fabric.
- 4). Moisten a cloth with vinegar and use it to wipe all of the luggage's surfaces.
- 5). Leave the luggage in a well-ventilated, sunny area to dry.
