How to Remove Glue From Linoleum Tile

    • 1). Blot wet glue from the linoleum tile with a damp paper towel, removing as much of the glue as possible.

    • 2). Soak a clean cloth with hot water. Squeeze out the excess water.

    • 3). Set a blow dryer on high heat and apply the hot air to the hardened glue. As the glue softens, wipe with the damp, hot cloth. Continue heating the glue with the hair dryer and wiping with the cloth until the glue lifts completely from the linoleum tile.

    • 4). Fill a sink half way with warm water and 1 tsp. liquid dish soap. Clean the linoleum tile with a sponge dipped in the sink of warm soapy water. Rinse the floor clean with a damp rag, and dry the floor with a dry rag.
