- 1). Sweep the Pergo floor with a broom on a regular basis to remove dirt, dust and debris. Sweep the dirt and dust into a dustpan, and empty the contents.
- 2). Combine 1 gallon warm water and 1 cup vinegar in a large bucket. Add 1 tsp. of rubbing alcohol and stir.
- 3). Apply the vinegar solution to the floor with a mop. Allow to dry thoroughly before walking on the floors to prevent the transfer of dirt to the wet floor.
- 4). Avoid using floor wet jets, jet mops or abrasive cleaners, as these products may scratch the floor.
