- 1). Set the airbrush to max spray.
- 2). Spray any leftover paint into a paper towel or rag.
- 3). Pour cleaner into the airbrush and spray into paper towel until the spray is clear.
- 4). Fill the airbrush with water and spray for 30 seconds to ensure the solvent has been removed.
- 1). Disassemble color cups and bottles.
- 2). Immerse in undiluted cleaner/solvent, and let stand overnight.
- 3). Rinse with warm water and reassemble.
- 1). Remove the nozzle from the Aztek airbrush.
- 2). Place into a sealed container of clear window cleaner. If acrylic paints have dried onto the needle, use acrylic solvent instead.
- 3). Soak the nozzle for approximately 20 minutes.
- 4). Shake the container to dislodge dried or clumped paint.
- 1). Insert reamer/brush end of the Aztek cleaning tool into the nozzle housing.
- 2). Rotate 360 degrees and remove.
- 3). Blow out loose clumps of paint.
- 1). Remove the blanking plug from the paint cup port, using the long bar of the cleaning tool if necessary.
- 2). Insert reamer/brush into the port.
- 3). Rotate 360 degrees and remove.
