How to Recover a Brushed Suede Sofa

    • 1). Vacuum the couch with an attachment for any loose debris.

    • 2). Rub out the stains with a suede eraser. Use the eraser in gentle, circular motions. Do not use a typical pencil eraser.

    • 3). Brush the sofa with a suede brush to recover the nap. Follow this by rubbing the suede with a dry sponge.

    • 4). Mix a 1:1 ratio of white distilled vinegar and water. Dampen a soft cloth with the solution (do not soak) and rub any stains in the suede sofa with the cloth in circular motions. You may want to test the solution on an inconspicuous spot first. Pat dry with a clean towel.
