- 1). Wipe all soiled areas off of the pillow with a mixture of liquid dish detergent and warm water, using a clean cloth. Do not use abrasive detergents, as these may damage the fabric.
- 2). Scrub any difficult spots gently with a toothbrush.
- 3). Dry the surface of the beanbag using a clean cloth.
- 1). Vacuum the bag, if necessary. Vacuuming is the best method of removing pet hair, sand, crumbs and loose soil from fabric.
- 2). Remove the fabric cover, if possible. Use laundry detergent and a washing machine to wash the cover in a gentle cycle. Dry it on a cool setting or air dry to avoid shrinkage.
- 3). Wash spots off of nonremovable fabric covers with liquid detergent, warm water and a clean cloth. Be careful not to soak the fabric so that it does not take too long to air dry.
- 4). Remove any difficult spots with a stain stick or spray stain-remover and toothbrush.
- 5). Dry the pillow using a clean cloth. You may also use a hair dryer on a cool setting.
- 6). Remove odors by spraying the beanbag with disinfectant, if desired.
