    How to Make Homemade Linoleum Floor Cleaner

    • 1). Pour one cup of white vinegar into the five-gallon bucket.

    • 2). Fill the cap of the baby oil bottle with baby oil. Pour into the five-gallon bucket.

    • 3). Turn the sink faucet to the hot setting. Allow the water to warm. Fill the one-gallon jug with warm water.

    • 4). Pour the warm water into the five-gallon bucket.

    • 5). Mix the contents of the bucket with the wooden spoon.

    How to Clean Linoleum Floors with Homemade Cleaner

    • 1). Sweep the floor with the broom. Start in one corner of the room, and sweep toward you. Repeat until any dirt or debris is in a small pile. Move to another section of the room, and repeat on the entire floor.

    • 2). Place the dustpan next to the first pile of dirt. Use the broom to sweep the pile into the dustpan. Move the dustpan back to ensure no dirt slipped under the pan.

    • 3). Wet the mop with the cleaning solution by dipping the mop in the five-gallon bucket.

    • 4). Mop the floor with the cleaning solution. Start in one corner of the room. Push the mop away from you and then toward you. Move to the next section.

    • 5). Dip the mop back into the five-gallon bucket every three to four sections. Repeat over the entire floor.
