Call me pathetic, but after my boyfriend of five years, Roy, just up and left me, I couldn't think of life without him; I had to get my boyfriend back and fast! I was desperate to have him back and in my desperation, I gave in to all my impulsive feelings.
From calling him up, to following him, to even threatening him, I did it all.
In fact, I had even resorted to embarrassing behavior to get him back and each time, his rejection of me hurt more.
No More Stalking! But finally, I was made to see sense.
I found out that the more I chased after him and the more I let him know that I couldn't do without him, the further he would go away from me.
If I wanted to get my boyfriend back, I had to play it cool and hide my true emotions, to hell with being honest! This one time, I had to see it as a game and I had to play to win.
And win, I did! I started off by suddenly cutting all contact with him.
This came as a shock, because after a month of such behavior, my boyfriend had probably begun to expect some new crazy antic from me everyday.
When that suddenly stopped, he began to wonder what happened to me and, as he later told me, he got a bit worried too! This was my trump card, I guess.
In order to get my boyfriend back, I began to stay away from him and I made a conscious effort to move on with my life.
It is precisely because of this that my boyfriend sought me out.
He was quite concerned about how I was doing.
I did my best to maintain a dignified exterior and told him that I was doing fine and had moved on.
Moving On! I guess it was the last two words which got to my boyfriend.
He simply couldn't imagine that after all that stalking, I would be able to pick up the pieces of my life and sort them out in some kind of order again! I knew I had to do it, or at least pretend to, in order to get my boyfriend back and that is exactly what happened.
I even dated a guy from my art class for about a month, when I thought that there was absolutely no hope for us to get back together.
It was fun; however, both of us knew it wouldn't last.
But luckily, my boyfriend saw things differently! When he heard that I had started dating again, he saw red! He came rushing back to me! It was a classic case of "you never know what you've got until you lose it.
" That is all I had to do in order to get my boyfriend back.
As soon as I managed to fool him into believing that I had truly moved on, I had him back and literally begging for a second chance! Men truly love the thrill of the chase! So, if you're in a similar situation, try to get him back the way I managed to get my boyfriend back.
Trust me, it works!
