How to Make Wearable Candy Corn With Crafting Foam

    • 1). Choose three circular items in incremental sizes. For the purposes of this project, we will use objects with diameters that are 1/4-inch, 3/4-inch and 1-inch in diameter respectively. You can use larger or smaller objects as desired.

    • 2). Trace the smallest item onto the white crafting foam. Trace the medium sized circular item onto the orange crafting foam. Finally, trace the final and largest circular item onto the yellow crafting foam. Cut out all three of the traced outlines. Set the white and yellow cut-outs aside.

    • 3). Apply a small layer of white crafting glue on one side of the orange circle. Apply it in the center of the circle, but not all the way to the edge. Press the glue-covered side down onto the yellow circle, centering it first. Try to keep it as evenly centered as is possible.

    • 4). Apply a thin layer of glue on one side of the white circle. Apply it in the center of the circle, but not all the way to the edge. Press it firmly onto the center of the orange circle, briefly pinching the two circles between your thumb and pointer finger. Set them aside to allow the glue to dry thoroughly. This is the best time to set the one aside, and make more as gifts or party favors.

    • 5). Check the circles glued together to make sure they are fully dry. When they are dry, cut them in two, straight across the middle. Cut each piece in half again like you would slice a pizza. You should now have four individual "slices."

    • 6). Round the edges carefully with your scissors to give it a softer, more genuine look. Glue a jewelry clasp or pin onto the back of the completed candy corns. Turn each one face over so the back-side with the pin is facing up. Let them dry completely before wearing them.
