- 1). Measure and cut a piece of wire four inches long. Slip the end of the wire through the hole in the bead and allow about 1½ inches to stick out from the left side.
- 2). Bring the short end of the wire up and across the long end. Pull both ends of the wire tightly across the bead.
- 3). Take the needle nose pliers and grab the shorter piece of wire above the area where the two wires cross. Make a 90 degree angle with the shorter piece of wire across the longer piece.
- 4). Grab the longer piece of wire and bring it across to make a 90 degree angle between the two pieces of the wire.
- 5). Grab the center of the triangle you just created with the tip of the pliers. Wrap the short piece of wire around the long piece twice. Use the wire cutters or nail clippers and cut the short wire as close to the joint as possible.
- 6). Grab the tip of the triangle with the pliers and hold it in the center of the top of the bead. Use your fingers and form a more perfect 90 degree angle.
- 7). Grab the wire at the bend with your round nose pliers. Bring the wire around the pliers so that it is facing downward.
- 8). Open the pliers just a drop and twist it until the underneath tip now faces the top. Pull the wire over the nose of the pliers. Stop when the loop is round. Wrap the remaining wire around the base of the bail you have made and cut any excess as close to the base as possible.
