How to Program a Keyless Entry for a 1995 Mazda MX6

    • 1). Open the driver's-side door and enter the Mazda. Make sure no keys are in the ignition, and leave the door open.

    • 2). Lock and then unlock the driver's side door using the electronic lock button on the arm rest.

    • 3). Insert the key into the Mazda's ignition, then turn it to the "On" position followed by the "Off" position three times in a row.

    • 4). Leave the keys in the ignition, then close and open the driver's-side door three times in a row. Leave the door open on the last repetition. You should hear a chime from the car or the doors will lock then unlock to signify that you were successful; the car is now ready for remote input.

    • 5). Press the "Lock" button on your remote twice. The car will chime or lock/unlock again.

    • 6). Repeat Step 5 for as many remotes as you wish to program to your Mazda. Make sure you do not wait more than 15 seconds between any one remote.

    • 7). Wait 15 seconds. The car will chime four times or lock/unlock twice, signifying the end of the process. Your remotes should now work with your Mazda MX6.
