- 1). Place a towel on top of the dryer to help protect the pieces of the door from scratches while they are in use. Open the dryer door as wide as possible.
- 2). Remove four of the five screws holding the door hinge to the dryer, leaving the one second from top in place but slightly loose. Place the screws to one side and lift the door gently up and away from the dryer. Remove the final screw and place it with the others.
- 3). Place the dryer door on the towel with the inside facing up. Remove the six screws located at roughly 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 o'clock around the inside of the door to detach the inside of the door assembly. Leave the other screws in place.
- 4). Place the inner part of the door screwhead side up on the towel and set the other piece to one side. Detach the plastic hinge cover by pulling it out and down. Remove the four screws connecting the hinge to the door.
- 5). Swap the hinge screws and hinge to the opposite side of the inner door, removing the plastic retaining plugs and inserting them in the space vacated by the hinge screws. Reverse the inner door cover by sliding it up and over the inner door assembly.
- 6). Place the newly reversed inner part of the door to one side and put the outer part of the door on the towel. Reverse the door handle by removing the screws attaching it to the door and the screws holding the retaining plugs on the opposite side. Swap the positions of the handle and the plugs, and tighten the screws.
- 7). Screw the inner door assembly back onto outer door assembly and pry out the plastic retaining plugs beside the door cavity on the front of the dryer. Insert one screw, without tightening, into the hole second from the top. Hang the door on the screw and tighten the remainder in place. Push the retaining plugs in the holes on the opposite side of the door cavity.
- 8). Test the door; it should latch and open properly from its new position.
