Borax Insecticide Preparation for Silverfish

    • 1). Place gloves on your hands before using Borax to prevent skin irritation. Some people could be irritated by the chemicals found in Borax.

    • 2). Dampen a sponge and place in a tray with a small amount of water to keep the sponge damp. Sprinkle the sponge with Borax and place the tray near the silverfish sightings.

    • 3). Mix together 1/4 cup of Borax and 1/4 cup of honey or sugar and place in a tray for a second option. Place the tray in the area where the silverfish have been seen.
