How to Clean a Yellowing Gas Stove

    • 1). Spray glass cleaner on the outside of the stove and on the top of the stove, especially around the burners. Wipe with a kitchen sponge.

    • 2). Wipe the trim with a cloth or sponge dipped in hot, soapy water. Immediately wipe away the water with a dry cloth.

    • 3). Sprinkle baking soda on areas of the stove that still have yellowing. Sprinkle distilled white vinegar over the top of the baking soda, until it becomes to foam.

    • 4). Use the baking soda as an abrasive, rubbing it on the yellow parts of the stove. Wipe away as much of the baking soda mixture as you can with paper towels.

    • 5). Rub the entire stove with a damp paper towel to remove any excess baking soda or vinegar. Dry the surface with paper towels.
