I Cannot Delete the Paper Port From Windows Vista Add/Remove

    • 1). Download the PaperPort removal tool from supportcontent.nuance.com/paperport/12/PP12Remover.zip. Save the file to your desktop.

    • 2). Double-click the downloaded "PP12Remover.zip" file folder and locate the "Remover" folder within it. Right-click the folder and select "Copy."

    • 3). Click on "Start" and select "Computer." Double-click the "C" drive. Right-click an empty space within the window and select "Paste."

    • 4). Double-click the "Remover" file folder within the "C" drive and locate the "Remover.exe" file. Double-click the file.

    • 5). Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to run the file. Allow the file to remove PaperPort from your computer.

    • 6). Right-click the "PaperPort" folder located at "C:\Program Files\ScanSoft\PaperPort" or at "C:\PaperPort" and select "Delete." Click "Yes" to confirm.

    • 7). Click on "Start" and select "Devices and Printers." Locate any PaperPort printers beneath the "Printers and Faxes" section. Right-click the printers, select "Delete" and click "Yes."

    • 8). Close all open windows. Right-click the "Windows Recycle Bin" and select "Empty Recycle Bin." Click "Yes." Restart your system.
