Starting Or Joining a Bible Study Group

People have a need to feel that closeness to God, their family, their friends, and even where they live.
For some of those that seek out these feelings happen to find them by attending church.
Even attending church will still leave them hungering for more.
Joining a Bible study group is a way that one can make a connection with their fellow worshippers.
If the church that you attend doesn't offer Bible study, you could either start one, or find one elsewhere.
When you bring God's presence into your Bible study group, everyone will feel the warmth of God's love flowing in the room.
When people get together and share their experiences and knowledge of the Bible, everyone will learn knew things about God's Word and each other.
This is a good way for everyone to spend good quality time with each other and this can also be a regular family get together to form a stronger bond to each other.
There are spirit led people who can interpret the scriptures very well.
This is important because it's not good to have one mislead people with half-truth.
There are people who make good oraters as well, who can take charge and lead the group.
If you fall into this class, you may want to start your own Bible study group.
Don't get discouraged if you can't be one of these people, maybe you are just ment to lead a Bible Study with your family.
It's possible that in the future, you may be able to have your own group.
You can still coordinate a Bible Study group in your community, just find someone who can lead the group.
Your pastor, or church leader would be someone you may want to consult with to get some guidance on ways to start a group.
It's a matter of getting started that can be the hard part, it can be a little tense, but once everyone settles in and gets comfortable with each other, things will run pretty smooth.
There will always be things to discuss when it comes to God's Word and our salvation.
You can always reflect on what was being preached the previous Sunday.
There is only so much time during church services and not everything is brought out or completely understood.
Put some time aside for a question and answer session.
This is always a good way to learn and if a question didn't get answered, it would be a good homework assignment for next week.
If you seek resources such as pre-made Bible Study courses, be careful and make sure that they come from a reliable source.
Popularity isn't always the best route.
Half truth doesn't cut it when it comes to God's Word, people's salvation could be at stake.
Never settle on what man teaches, seek the truth in God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit.
Everyone is different and no one travels the same road.
A Bible Study group will only work if everyone is willing to work together for the glory of God.
People need to be patient with each other, along with understanding and kindness.
Before each session, pray to God and invite His presence to be with you all as the group studies His Word.
