    U.S Sport's Peak Performance Swim Camp

    • U.S Sport's Peak Performance swim camp is in Clermont, Florida, just outside of Orlando. Offered in the winter, this camp features an elite camp for swimmers ages 13 to 17 and an advanced camp for swimmers ages 7 to 17. The elite camp is the more difficult camp of the two and features physical conditioning 75 percent of the time and 25 percent on technical training, while the advanced camp features 50 percent each of physical and technical conditioning. Additional features for extra cost include private coaching, video analysis, personalized assessment and early arrival. You can register for camps by visiting the website or calling. A non-refundable deposit is required as well as a health and release form.

    YMCA Aquatic Center

    • The YMCA offers their annual SwimFASTER camp at the YMCA Aquatic Center on the world-renowned International Drive in Orlando, Florida. This week-long camp teaches swimmers butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle swim techniques. In addition, the camp has instruction that can help improve swim times, perfect stokes and do faster turns. The camp is broken up into small groups depending on the swimmer's skill level and offers individual attention, underwater filming of the camper's strokes, start and turn clinics and expert stroke analysis. You can register by contacting the camp's coach at the YMCA on International Drive.

    Wet 'n Wild

    • Wet 'n Wild, a water park located on International Drive in Orlando, offers a different type of swim camp for swimmers 10 to 15 years old. The junior lifeguard camp is a one-week camp that teaches kids all about life guarding and gives campers an opportunity to shadow a lifeguard at the water park. Skills taught include water safety, leadership skills, teamwork, water fitness, public relations, first aid and basic life-saving skills. The camp is available throughout the summer, and lunch is provided during the day. Online registration is available or you can contact the water park to enroll.
