- Uniquely Yours is a Victorian-style tea room located in a historic building in Cecil, about 13 miles from Washington. Afternoon tea is by reservation only, but walk-ins for lunch are welcome from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. Tables are beautifully decorated with a color theme and cloth napkins. The tea room can host 38 people and soft music plays in the background. The food is homemade and there are 75 different kinds of loose teas. Take-out is available and there is a gift shop.
- Serendipity Tea Room in Belle Vernon is approximately 14 miles from Washington. It won the 2010 The Valley Independent Choice Award for best desserts and best salads. It seats 25 people and has some outdoor seating. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Wednesday to Saturday, with private functions by appointment. The menu is seasonal, with hot soups like chicken tortellini in the fall and winter and chilled soups in summer, such as cold peach soup served in a teacup. They have a large variety of specialty teas, salads, sandwiches and a range of decadent desserts all served in a charming setting.
- Victorene's Tea is located in the small city of Monongahela, about 12 miles from Washington. Freshly brewed loose tea and perfectly presented food is served in a lovingly restored Victorian farm house from the 1860s. Reservations are required as the tea room is often booked up. Victorene's Tea has seasonal events, and private bookings can be made for birthdays, baby showers, weddings, benefit and other special events.
- Goody Two Shoes in Monongahela is a traditional English tea room named after a fictional English character. Open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday, the tea room welcomes walk-ins but prefers reservations for parties of six or more. Private parties can be arranged by appointment. The daily lunch special features homemade soup, sandwiches and fresh-baked scones. They also serve shepherd's pie, quiche, afternoon tea, cream tea and theme teas. Antiques and collectibles are on display.
