- 1). Lay the wood panels flat on the work surface and plan how you will glue them together. You may have to turn them first one way than the other until they lay as flat as you would like them.
- 2). Clamp the boards together without applying glue to test whether you have positioned the panels correctly. Make any adjustments to the wood panels as needed, then loosen the clamps. Mark the wood panels lightly with a pencil so that you know in which order and side they should lay.
- 3). Turn every other board up on its side. Apply wood glue along the upended edge.
- 4). Turn the boards back down so they are edge to edge with the ones beside it. Gently rub the boards together to spread the glue to the unglued edge of the board beside it.
- 5). Push down on the boards to make sure they're lying flat against the work table. Tighten the clamps. Allow the glue to dry.
- 6). Sand the wood paneling once the glue is set to smooth any edges, making the surface of each board even with the other.
