How to Mow With a Commercial Mower

    • 1). Fill the gas tank to the top before use.

    • 2). Remove the dipstick from the oil crankcase and inspect the oil level. Fill the reservoir with the manufacturer's recommended oil if it's low.

    • 3). Sit on the mower. Set the cutting height of the mower to between 2 to 3 inches. You only want to remove one-third of the grass blade at a time.

    • 4). Set the throttle to the maximum RPM.

    • 5). Cut one straight line across the lawn. Turn the machine and overlap the casters at the front of the mower blade deck by a few inches. This prevents leaving any of the lawn uncut.
