fire rings

Definition:

fire rings - An iron ring with a grate used to contain campfires. They are usually about 3 feet in diameter and 8-10 inches high. The grate comes in handy for cooking over a fire. If your campsite has a fire ring, please use it rather than creating a campfire elsewhere.
