- 1). Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged to the projector and the other end is plugged into the electrical outlet. Test another appliance in the same outlet to check that there is power to the outlet. Check the home electrical panel for any tripped breaker and blown fuses. Rest breakers and replace fuses with others of the same rating. Press "Power" on the remote control or the projector.
- 2). Replace the projector lamp if no image is displayed, even when the projector is turned on. Turn off the projector, unplug the power cord from the outlet and allow it to cool for at least 45 minutes. Loosen the screws on the lamp cover and remove the cover. Remove the screws from the lamp module, raise the handle and lift out the module. Insert the new module into the projector and tighten the screws. Turn on the projector. If the lamp does not turn on after a warm-up period, try reinstalling the lamp. Reset the lamp-timer. Press "Menu," go to "Set-Up>Advanced Set-Up>Reset Lamp Hours," and then press "Menu."
- 3). Press the "Source" button on the projector or the remote control once or more times to select another active input source if the wrong input source is displayed.
- 4). Check to see that the lens cover is open if the image is out of focus. Try adjusting the focus ring while the image is displayed. Check to see if the lens requires cleaning. Gently wipe the lens with lens-cleaning paper, taking care not to scratch the lens or to touch the lens with your hand.
- 5). Press the "Resync" button if the image is unstable or flickering.
