Scrub Away

• 1). Connect the DVD player to any available input on the plasma set, using RCA cables or another type of connection.
  
  
• 2). Select the input used by the DVD player, using either the remote control or the television's controls. Turn on the DVD player, and insert the DVD containing the 100-percent-white field test pattern.
  
  
• 3). Set the television's contrast control to maximum, using either the remote or the TV's controls to set. Leave the white field pattern on screen for 24 hours, or until the ghost lines have dissipated.
