I knew about this campground from a previous camping experience when I was younger. I cabin camped there in November 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

The campground was very well kept and well organized, and the cabin was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable.

Pros: Campground was central to any and all outdoor activities (ie: hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, etc.) Very close proximity to neighboring cities.

Cons: There is a lodge/motel, but no restaurant. You have to go into town or to Pickwick Landing for meals, unless you prepare them in your room/cabin. I don't really consider this a "con" though.

Nearby attractions: TVA dams and Muscle Shoals/Florence Area. Shiloh Battlefield and Natchez Trace are also within close driving distance.

Further comments: I would definitely spend time there again, and I recommend this campground to anyone.
