Is there a difference between these two? Some would agree that they are one and the same.
I tend to disagree.
I think sex is emotionless.
The act of having sex is between two people void of any real feelings or commitment.
In the present day time sex is considered have a "friend with benefits.
" Which boil down to, after the sexual act, you go your way and I go mine and we will meet again when it's time to have sex.
It's purely about the pleasure of the act.
There is not much foreplay or intimacy let alone cuddling and holding each other.
Sex just satisfy ones urge.
Lovemaking, ahh, that is a beautiful act between two people that are in love and want to connect with each other.
That's what lovemaking is about, two people building, deepening, and taking their relationship to the next level.
Making love is when there is a connecting of the hearts.
When two people are able to communicate with each other with their eyes and the body understand this communication, when the eyes meet and all is understood.
No words need to be spoken, only body language, and heart pounding.
Making love is foreplay and caring about satisfying your partner.
Making love is emotional, sensual.
Making love is holding, cuddling, and dragging out the pleasure.
Making love is beautiful when both parties are into each other.
There is nothing more powerful than to be in the arms of the one you love.
That is called love.
