We all need bacteria to live a healthy life, one of the problems of over antibacterializing ourselves.
Bacteria perform many useful roles including the making of vitamin K.
The problem is due to our diets and other issues some of these bacteria entrench themselves in our livers and kidneys and begin to grow in abundance creating certain chemicals and affecting cell functions.
It is very difficult to rid the body of overgrowth of fungus, for instance athletic foot and fungal toenail.
Some symptoms of Candida are more serious and require medical intervention to treat.
Some of the things we are exposed to can lead to Candida, for instance the overuse of antibiotics.
They are used to kill certain disease causing bacteria, but they also kill protective bacteria throughout the body.
This allows fungi to grow unhampered.
Swimming in chlorine pools is also a hazard as chlorine is a chemical that is used to kill bacteria and algae.
It kills the bacteria in the water and also in the body but not the yeast in the pool, so yeast grow on the body when the bacteria are dead.
Of course swimming is not going to cause Candida, only if the disease is already present this can contribute to its growth as will consistent exposure to mold, alcoholism in either parent or drinking in general as alcohol is a fermented product which encourages yeast growth in the body.
The body has an amazing ability to take care of itself, overexposure to bacteria killing agents can hamper the bodies immune systems and make it necessary to treat candida before it does permanent damage to the sensitive organs and tissues.
