- 1). Take an inventory of what parts still work on the junk car. For example, if the air bags and the CD player are still functional, make a note of that. Junk car dealers are primarily interested in selling the functioning parts of a junk car to people looking for a cheap way to replace parts on other vehicles.
- 2). Make sure you have removed any personal belongings out of the junk car that you wish to keep. Clean out the interior and throw away any garbage. A clean junk car is another source of leverage when negotiating.
- 3). Spend some time researching junk car dealers in Miami. Some Miami junk car dealers like Best Used Auto Parts or Miami wrecking companies like America Towing have websites that you can visit to obtain information about pricing and pick-up.
- 4). Call up three or four Miami junk car dealers and get quotes from each one. Once you have decided on the best offer for your junk car, have your chosen junk car dealer send someone to inspect your vehicle. Once the dealer's representative and you have agreed on the sale, sign over your Florida vehicle title. After that the junk car dealer will most likely have a tow truck pick up the junk car, whether or not it is operable.
