Web Re Design

It is quite obvious that the design of a website is changed and modified according to the demands and requirements. These changes are a part of the web redesign process. In some cases, the client signs a proper agreement with the designing firm for web redesign as and when it is required. In this case, the firm does not charge anything from the client. However, in other cases, the costs vary according to the changes made in the website. If the entire layout is changed, the customer would have to pay the cost of a new website.
There are particular scenarios in which the web redesign option is chosen. One of them is the increase in number of visitors. When a website is created, it does not have a lot of customers in the early days. However, as the popularity level increases, the count of online visitors increases as well. Hence the website has to be modified to fulfill the adequate demands. For instance, the number of pages may be increased to provide extra content to the customers. This modification is made in two ways. Either the existing pages are modified or new pages are added. If the existing pages are modified, the website may not be available to the users for a certain time period. This brings a major decline in the popularity level. Hence, people do not select this option. On the other hand, the second option is more attractive and compatible. When new pages are added to an existing layout, the existing pages can be accessed by the user during the modification process.
The costs of web redesign are dependent on the needs of the customer. In some cases, customers do not want to keep most of the existing pages apart from one or two main ones. These mostly include the index page which provides the initial interface to the users. As this the first page visited by the user, an organization does not get it modified. However, the other pages can be redesigned and linked to the old hyperlinks. In this case, the cost increases by a very large percentage.
In some cases, web redesign is a better option than getting a new website designed. This is because all the content and details of the website have to be modified. In addition to that, if the domain is changed, it takes a lot of time for the online users to recognize the new website. Thus, people avoid this practice is most cases.
One of the major examples of web redesign is the change in technology. Some organizations get the designing platform of their website changed so that it can become more compatible with the existing applications. For instance, consider that the website of a firm has been designed using PHP. This might create a problem if all the other firm applications are running on the dot net framework. Hence to increase the compatibility level, the website has to be redesigned using the dot net framework.
To modify your website in any manner, you need to hire a professional firm offering web re-design service . Some firms offer a wide range of services including web re development and web re-design options.
