      Boca Springs is located in the North Lake Tahoe area in California, offering public, no-fee access to its well-maintained spring. This family-friendly destination features activities such as hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling and golf. With summer highs in the 80s and low reaching the 40s, visitors can comfortably relax in a local campground and venture out to experience all that the area has to offer.

      Boca Campground is located just over one mile from Boca Springs on the western end of Boca Reservoir. The campground features 24 shady campsites that overlook the reservoir, along with day-use picnic areas. Local outdoor activities include fishing, hunting, biking and water sports. Sightseeing is available for the less adventurous. Less than 10 miles away, campers can find a convenience store and deli. Visitor must carry in their own water.

      Boca Spring Campground is located 2.5 miles away from Boca Springs and one mile east of Boca Reservoir. Seventeen single-family campsites are available, as well as a group campground for up to 25 campers. Family-friendly activities feature swimming, horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking. Facilities include vault toilets, picnic tables and potable water. A gas station, convenience store and deli are located less than 10 miles from the campground. The campground is open from May through October and reservations are accepted.

      The Prosser Ranch Group Campground is based 3.7 miles away from Boca Springs on Prosser Reservoir. The area features miles of ATV/OHV trails along with hiking trails. The shady group campsite accommodates up to 50 campers. Campground facilities include a boat launch, vault toilets, potable water and fire rings. Nearby water activities such as canoeing and windsurfing are less than one mile away. Stores, restaurants and gas station are located within 10 miles from the campground. Reservations are accepted.
