- 1). Screw the handle of the fishing net counterclockwise and pull the handle to lengthen. Screw the handle clockwise to set the handle length.
- 2). Screw the handle counterclockwise and apply pressure to both ends of the net to shorten the handle. Screw the handle clockwise to set the length of the handle.
- 3). Unfold the segments of the net. Connect the female and male ends of each segment when the net is in use. Some nets have a screw setting where the segments must be connected by rotating the screw clockwise around the threads.
- 4). Pull each segment connection apart to disassemble the net. For nets with screw connections, rotate counterclockwise to disconnect.
- 5). Fold the net segments to store or transport the net.
