Finding life insurance leads can be hard.
It can be almost impossible.
There is a lot of competition today in insurance whether it is for life insurance, car insurance, or insurance for your home.
Everybody needs insurance don't they? If something was to happen to you where would that leave your family? With funeral expenses being sky high would your family be able to give you a proper burial? If something unfortunate happened to you would your spouse be able to take care of the rest of the family? Chances are you won't have the money to pay for an unexpected funeral.
If any of these things were to happen where would we be? This is not a situation that you would want to find yourself in.
So if everybody needs insurance than it should be easy to get life insurance leads right? No, not really.
Insurance isn't something that people like talking about.
And they especially don't like discussing life insurance.
Plain and simple nobody wants to talk about it.
It can be because they don't want to think about unfortunate situations, or because they just don't want to fork over the money for something they feel that won't happen to them.
People get angry when the think about the money they pay month after month and feel slighted because the money is going nowhere.
It's as if they would be happy if something would happen to them so it would make the insurance company give back some money.
Well if they think the insurance industry isn't giving anything back then they are quite wrong.
The insurance companies give us piece of mind.
You don't have to lie awake at night playing scenarios through your head about what you would do if something horrible happened.
That's what insurance does for us.
It is that net that you fall into when you have lost your balance.
When your usually smooth ride through life has been knocked off of its course.
So why is it hard to get leads then? It is hard to get life insurance leads because when people think of someone selling insurance they picture an opportunistic, slime ball of a person that basically wants to take advantage of them.
They are nervous of signing anything because they feel the insurance company's only purpose is to bleed them dry.
History has played a role in our impressions of what an insurance company is like.
It is much the same as the IRS.
So why is it so hard to get life insurance leads then? It is so hard mostly because of a stereotype that society has left us with.
