Someone is new with the diet and wants to have herself more variations of candida diet recipes.
As this is such a big life style change, especially in eating habits, she would like to have any muffin or cookie recipes she can try.
She also asked if we can have maltitol or cocoa butter in this diet.
She also has stomach rumbling and sort of a buzzing in her upper abdomen, usually after she eats and not all the time.
She wonders if anyone else has this feeling.
Her husband also has yeast and the same fungus as hers, but doesn't suffer from that buzzing feeling in her stomach.
When I was new with the candida diet, I use Stevia in all my recipes instead of sugar.
It is from an herb and fights yeast, has no calories, and will not affect blood sugar level.
We are not supposed to have any maltitol or artificial sweeteners, but ask your doctor if it is okay for you.
Stevia and Xylitol are fine to use, though.
I recommend the "Candida Control Cookbook" by Gail Burton.
It has a lot of great muffin recipes, cookies, etc.
They use vegetable glycerin instead of Stevia, but the muffins and cakes come out so yummy.
Also, try the cookbook, "Allergy Cooking with Ease" by Nicolette Dumke.
There are some good recipes in there.
As for the stomach rumbling, I have had it all my life when it is empty.
I always thought it was normal, until recently, I have been rethinking it.
Is it normal? I'm not familiar with the buzzing, but it is sort of like indigestion for me.
Sometimes, I feel like I am still hungry, especially after a carb heavy meal.
I get the rumbling like hungry feeling and the only way to satisfy it is by eating some crackers which I always keep some by the bed.
