- 1). Go to the "Start" menu. Click "All Programs." Click "Zone Labs" in the list. Right-click on "Uninstall Zone Labs Security." Select "Properties" from the menu.
- 2). Look under "Target" for the following command line: "C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zauninst.exe." Add " /clean" (without the quotation marks) to the end of the command. Ensure that the command line now reads as follows: "C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zauninst.exe" /clean. Ensure that you inserted a space before the command "/clean."
- 3). Click "OK."
- 4). Go to the "Start" menu. Click "All Programs," "Zone Labs" and "Uninstall Zone Labs Security."
- 5). Click "OK." Click "OK" for any confirmation prompts that appear. Click "Yes" to remove all files.
- 6). Reboot the computer.
- 1). Go to the "Start" menu. Click "All Programs," "Accessories" and "Run."
- 2). Type "msconfig" in the Run box. Click "OK." Wait for the System Configuration Utility to load.
- 3). Click the tab "Boot." Place a checkmark in "Safe boot." Click "OK." Click "Restart." Wait for the computer to restart in Safe Mode.
- 4). Go to the "Start" menu. Click "Control Panel." Click "Uninstall a Program."
- 5). Click "ZoneAlarm." Click "Remove or Uninstall."
- 6). Follow the onscreen instructions to continue the uninstall process.
- 7). Restart the computer.
- 8). Go to the "Start" menu. Click "All Programs," "Accessories" and "Run."
- 9). Type "msconfig" in the Run box. Click "OK." Wait for the System Configuration Utility to load.

Click the tab "Boot." Remove the checkmark for "Safe boot." Click "OK." Click "Restart." Wait for the computer to restart normally.
