It happens more often to other brides than you might think. In the rush to prepare all of the final details of their wedding, they have devoted as much time to diet and exercise as they probably should have. So what do you do when you only have a 30 day time frame to lose weight for your wedding? Here are some helpful tips and tricks to shed those unwanted pounds in time for the big day!
Start with eliminating all of the white starches from your home! This includes all of your breads, pastas, and cereals. They should be replaced with whole grain and whole wheat substitutes. Whole wheat products are chock full of fiber, iron, and vitamin B, and you will need each of these nutrients to assist you in your weight loss goals. Food with white starch in it tends to be processed, which removes all the nutrients from it, and they are full of sugars.
Secondly, you are going to need to par down your food consumption each day to three small meals and two healthy snacks. A minimum of three different food groups should be incorporated into each meal, including protein, which is necessary to build lean muscle mass. Ideally, your daily snacks should never exceed more than 100 calories each, and your total calorie consumption for a single day should not exceed 1,400 within a 24 hour period.
Next, you are going to need to turn your attention to the beverages you consume. First and foremost, sodas and other carbonated beverages have to go. Ideally, you should eliminate all beverages from your daily routine with the exception of water and one cup of coffee or tea a day. If you carry a water bottle around with you through the day, you'll be less tempted to reach for a soda or cup of coffee. Furthermore, water is a necessary to flush harmful toxins from your body.
Finally, get your butt to the gym, even if you don't want too. Because you're on a limited time frame before your wedding, it's going to be necessary for you to put in at least 1 hour of cardiovascular exercise 4-5 days a week. 1-2 sessions of strength training should be added into your routine to increase your lean muscle mass. While it's going to be challenging, you only have to make this commitment for 30 days. You can definitely do it!
