Chances are, there's plenty of reasons as to why you may not be getting a deep, quality sleep each and every night.
Are you getting exercise during the day? If you're like a lot of us and sit at a desk all day at work, you aren't really using any of your body's natural energy that is produced throughout the day.
Therefore, you will have an abundance of energy when you're trying to fall asleep.
You need to somewhat deplete your energy levels; a simple daily walk/run after dinner can do wonders.
It will also have noticeable benefits on your physical and mental health.
What are you eating and drinking? Are you eating the right foods, at the right times? Try cutting back on carbs or sugars.
What kind of mattress are you sleeping on? Is it the same one you've been sleeping on for 10 years? If so, it may be time for a new one.
Try flipping your mattress.
We recommend doing it every 6 months to preserve the quality of the springs.
This has more of an effect than you would think.
While often overlooked, your mattress is the single most important fact in getting quality sleep.
Most importantly, diet and exercise are crucial elements.
If you dont do anything to exhaust your energy, you'll have an abundance of it, which doesn't help sleep.
Simply go for a walk/run around the neighborhood.
When you come back you'll be tired, but thats the goal.
A warm shower or bath should feel especially relaxing afterwards ;)
