The Southern Caribbean is a collection of islands near the South American border, and Princess Cruises offers travelers a number of cruises to this area that vary in length and location. Most of the cruises leave from either Fort Lauderdale, Florida or San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is a smaller ship, which can only accommodate about 1,900 passengers.
- This 14-day cruise leaves and returns to San Juan, and visitors will be traveling upon the Caribbean Princess. Ports of Call include Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada, Dominica, St. Thomas, Tortola, Antigua, St. Lucia and Barbados. Activities include visiting Fort San Felipe del Morro in San Juan, going to the Butterfly Farm in Aruba, visiting Trafalgar Falls in Dominica and visiting Nelson's Dockyard in Antigua. Other activities include swimming, snorkeling in a barrier reef, playing water sports, driving or four-by-four tours and taking skiffs or catamarans to nearby islands. Boat amenities include a wine/caviar bar, restaurants, 24-hour dining choices, nightly entertainment, afternoon tea, casino, outdoor movie theater, lounges, pools, card room, galleries, jogging track, spa, fitness room and hot tub.
