Some advice for safe driving:

In Croatia you are obligated to use short lights during the entire day (24 hours) during the winter period. Lights on the car are not necessary to turn on during daylight-savings time
In Croatia, as well as in most European countries, you are not allowed to use your mobile phone while driving

The allowed amount of alcohol in the blood:

0,0: Professional drivers, automobile drivers up to 21 years of age, motorcycle drivers up to 25 years of age

0,2: Automobile drivers from 21 to 25 years of age, motorcycle drivers over 25 years of age

0,5: Automobile drivers over 25 years of age

Drive on the right side of the road and make a passing on the right side
While driving, the driver as well as the passengers, are obligated to use their seat belt
Speed limits (unless specified otherwise through traffic signs):
in inhabited areas is 50 km/h
out of inhabited areas is 90 km/h
on the highway is 130 km/h

In case of an accident or fault during the rent, in the Republic of Croatia call Fleet's branch office whose number is on your Contract on Rent, and the police on 192.
