- Stack two or three vintage suitcases on top of each other. Use the luggage as storage. Place items that are not needed on a regular basis, such as special towels or napkins, in the bottom suitcases. Place items that you need on a regular basis, such as toilet paper or towels, in the top suitcase. The top suitcase can be left open to display what is inside or closed to keep your toilet paper or other items out of sight.
- Take a flat-topped piece of vintage luggage and use it as a table in the bathroom. Add four coordinating table legs to your suitcase by drilling holes in the corners of the bottom of the case. Paint the legs to match the bathroom or leave them as-is for a more shabby chic look. Store items, such as extra soaps, inside the suitcase and place reading material and magazines on top of your luggage table.

Vintage luggage was often made of sturdier material then the luggage of today. Strong flat topped vintage luggage can be placed on the walls of your bathroom to create shelving. Screw two large L-shaped brackets into the suitcase and then the wall to secure your shelving. Vintage luggage comes in different shapes and sizes. Used as-is, it can create a unique conversation piece in the bathroom. Stack vintage luggage pieces on top of one another to build a simple tower and top it with books, art and other vintage pieces. Smaller luggage can be placed on bathroom tables as an accent.
