5 More Creative Ways To Use Pinterest For Business

With Pinterest as the new #3 social network and oodles of sales credited as coming from there, it is only natural that more and more businesses would want to find creative ways to interact with customers on that platform.
Here are 5 more creative ways businesses can use Pinterest to generate traffic and deepen relationships with their customers: 1.
Create Bundles of Products or Services If you were to group items together and have them represented in a single image, you could promote them with special pricing, in one upload, one pin.
This could be done weekly, as the weekly special or monthly.
As soon as customers recognize the pattern, they will subscribe to the feed to see which bundle is coming up next.
2.
Voting In Your Future Product Line People are usually more receptive to change if they've had a part in creating it.
(Hence, the usual "who do you want your church to be" discussions before a new building campaign!) This can work very nicely on Pinterest if you're considering a new product and would like some advance warning of your customers' preference.
Imagine being able to take photos at The Gift Show in New York, have those images appear immediately on Pinterest and know what quantity you should order (or not) by the time you've reached the end of the aisle! 3.
Create A Neighborhood Coupon Board Thanks to the Great Recession of 2008, it is now mega-cool (and totally okay) to produce coupons for everything and anything! So why now create a coupon board for your company and the rest of your neighbors in the Chamber of Commerce, or your local BNI group, etc.
? People love to get a great tip - Resources boards are among the most popular on Pinterest.
4.
The How Story I've long said that today, your "how" is as interesting as your what and why.
(Hence the second version of the History Channel.
Who'd have predicted that?) A behind-the-scenes set of photos would be a great way of illustrating your business in action.
Particularly if you have a team of people and your competitors are solo-preneurs.
5.
Create A Vision Board It seems to me this is what Pinterest was created for: vision boards.
The upside is that everyone else can see what you're dreaming of.
The downside? Everyone else can see what...
well, it holds you accountable, doesn't it? You see a lot of bucket lists on the social network.
If you are a travel company, why not intersect with some of those wanting to visit Thailand, wistfully pinning photo after photo of Bora Bora and share with them the specials you have on trips there?
