aspen4 - I found this campground through Grand Canyon park service information, and I tent camped there in June 2003.

Campground Review

DeMotte Campground is located 5 miles north of the North Rim entrance along Highway 67 in the Kaibab National Forest, and it sits hidden about 300 yards off the highway. The campground offers spacious sites with fire pits and bathrooms. Aspen trees, pine forests, and alpine meadows dot the landscape in and around the area.

RVs are also well accommodated.
