A Guaranteed Snoring Solution

Have you made a resolution to get more sleep in 2009? You would definitely be alone in that one, as Americans are getting more and more sleep-deprived every year, but if you have a spouse who saws a lot of wood during the night, you may have to find a really great snoring solution to get the rest you need this year.
Fear not, there are a lot of ways to cut down on snoring.
It may take a bit of trial and error, or even a trip to the doctor for the snoring solution of your dreams to appear, but with a little due diligence, a quiet night can be had.
The secret lies in determining just exactly what is causing you or your loved one to snore.
Some common reasons for excessive snoring are being overweight, using alcohol to excess, and physical conditions.
Also, snoring tends to be one of those continuum things - it starts out small and progresses - so if you or your hubby are just now beginning to snore, it pays to start doing a little research now.
There are over-the-counter and prescription medications and devices that can help, and there are old-wife remedies that work for lots of people, too.
One long-standing favorite is to have the offending snorer wear a t-shirt to bed.
On the back of the shirt, you should sew on a pocket, and in the pocket you should put in a couple of tennis balls.
The reason this works is because snoring tends to be worse when one lies on his/her back.
When the snoring person rolls onto his back in the middle of the night, the tennis balls make him uncomfortable, and he rolls over, thereby stopping the snoring.
Or at least reducing it.
This is just one simple snoring solution.
Check out other ways by looking online, talking to other folks, or contacting your ear, nose, and throat specialist.
