Mount Shasta

• Whether you want to camp, raft, fish, hike, climb or just soak up some of the most gorgeous vistas in the United States, you should take in the mountains, forests, waterfalls and rivers of the Shasta Cascade region north of San Francisco.
  
  

Pacific Coast Highway

• The Pacific Coast Highway can take you from Southern California right up through Washington state. Its Northern California section carries you through downtown San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge, through the scenic hills and upscale towns of Marin County, and then through grand redwood forests.
  
  

Santa Cruz

• Just south of San Francisco is the charming coastal community of Santa Cruz, with its world-famous, century-old Beach Boardwalk.
