Trekking the Great Himalayas

The Himalayan range of mountains spreads from southeast to northwest across the Asian continent.
The Himalayas possess most of the highest peaks of the world and very frequently visited by most of the well known trekkers from around the world.
A major part of Himalayan range lies in Indian Territory and is the safest part of the Himalayas for tourists and travelers especially for adventure travelers and trekkers and also a paradise for camping nowadays.

Trekking in the India Himalayas is now very enjoyable and become comparatively very easy because of the development of lightweight equipment and clothing and booming tourist infrastructure.
There are difficult treks and also easy treks.
Nowadays vehicles, helicopters are also available to explore the glory and beauty of India Himalayas.
Even travel infrastructure is developing in this area but you still find the people in mountain villages who maintain the age old traditions.
You can find the age old culture and life style of Himalayan people.
Himalayan people are traditionally very hospitable and friendly so its ads more pleasure to trekking in these trails of Himalaya.
In almost all Himalayan regions, the local people have well developed trails.
There are routes from one village to the other, between adjoining mountain pastures and across well defined high altitude passes, where people travel from one valley to other for trade, cultural exchanges, and religious activities and inter - marriages.
These mountain trails and high passes normally do not require any mountaineering skills, there are few places covered with snow and may have crevasses, but these obstacles can easily cross with any mountaineering equipments and skills.
Trekking is more enjoyable than climbing the peaks but climbing is also a major activity which is been enjoyed by many travelers too.
