Taking care of our self is one of the most important parts of our day.
Before we go out of the house we make sure that we are clean enough to avoid other people starring at us because we look dirty and most of all we do not want our friends and family to look at straight in the eye with embarrassment.
Brushing our teeth and flossing should be practised since we talk a lot not just within ourselves but also to other people.
Since bad breath is caused by the bacteria, tartar and cavities.
These are food particles that are stuck between our teeth and that bacteria feast on them which would then create sulfur compounds which gives us the foul odour in our mouth.
In order to remove the unwanted cavities and tartar and slows down the bacteria build up in our mouth, we have to brush our teeth and use floss since it get rid of the small particles between our teeth that brushing alone could not handle.
It is sad to say that most of us only brush our teeth for the sake of brushing them.
With this kind of brushing, bacteria from our teeth are not removed thus our mouth would still smell after a few hours.
To get rid of the bacteria and stop its build up, we should brush our teeth at least 3 minutes after every meal.
This would ensure that our mouth would stay clean and fresh all day.
If you have been brushing your teeth at least 3 minutes every after meal but still you are experiencing bad breath, then you have to take into consideration of brushing your tongue too! Bacteria usually hide in deep crevices within our tongue.
So by eliminating cleaning the tongue and also the back of you tongue bacteria and other food particles will be washed out leaving you feeling fresh and clean.
You might be thinking that people who have dry mouth have less bacteria in their mouth, well you are wrong.
A dry mouth is the perfect place for the bacteria to grow rapidly than that of a wet mouth.
With enough supply of saliva, this helps get rid of food particles at the same time dissolves the sulfur compound in your mouth.
For you to have a cleaner, fresher mouth, you can also use mouthwash to kill the bacteria that have been living in your mouth and causing it to smell bad.
You also have to eat healthy foods and drink a lot of water.
Having a bad breath does not mean that you will be carrying that burden your entire life.
By following these simple steps and going to the dentist regularly will give you a better chance of having a cleaner, fresher breath every time of the day.
