Daydreaming - Is it A Dangerous Escape From Reality?

Daydreaming is NOT dangerous - but a reality check can be!

When we squash our own dreams by coming back to reality and reminding ourselves that we'll never be that beautiful person that we just dreamed of, that we'll never actually change our situation, we destroy the daydream that the glorious Universal Mind was just coordinating for us.

Daydreaming is like planning a party! You write the guest list, the activities and games that you'll play, the food you are going to serve, the music that you'll play, the friends that will attend, the laughter that you will share, the outfit that you'll wear and you send the invitations and start to get ready.

Then when your party day is almost here you come back to reality and cancel the whole thing by saying, "Oh, I can't have this. My life will never change."

POOF - you get what you ask for - no party - the entire order for fun is revoked!

Do you see what just happened? The angels were just dancing around planning your party, having a ball, coordinating the most fabulous, fun party ever and POOF you canceled it.

Allow yourself to daydream and then when you come back to reality, refuse to engage in the dream poisoning thoughts that you can't have a glorious life!

You were born an unlimited child of God meant to have all of your dreams come true. The only reason and I do mean the only reason, that we do not have all the things we dream about is because we are afraid to accept the truth - that we are unlimited.

What would happen if you accepted your Divine Right to unlimited joy, beauty, health, peace, love and prosperity?

You'd actually get it. Then, what would happen?

For many, there's a pay-off to not being this gloriously happy and successful and therefore, they cannot release the fear that keeps it away.

For example, see if any of the following triggers any emotions:

- If I'm successful, I have to give up my story of struggle. Then who would I be?

- If I'm beautiful, then I'd get attention that I don't really want or wouldn't know how to handle.

- If I'm thin, then I'd be less free and have to do certain things and be a certain way to fit in and I don't want to do that.

- If I'm successful, then I'll lose the love of my friends and family because they would feel inferior.

- If I'm prosperous, then people will want things from me and I'll have to protect myself.

- If I go for my dreams and achieve them, then people will expect me to be a certain way all the time and that's too much pressure.

- If I find love, then I'll have to give up on my secrets, my privacy, and the way I am.

The first order of business in applying the law of attraction is to accept the Truth of our being: We are pure potentiality and therefore it is our Divine Birthright to experience the presence of God, right now, right where we are.

Therefore, there's no need to compromise on what we want.

We can have both prosperity and the love of family and friends.

We can have both love and the freedom to be who we want to be.

We can have both success and safety.

We do not have to earn our right to joy and prosperity - we were born worthy and deserving; we were born unlimited, precious, admirable, beautiful, and it is our divine destiny to accept this.

By accepting this first Truth, we pull into our feeling nature the very essence of Spirit, the substance of Spirit - this substance is the Presence of God.

By allowing the Presence of God to be right here, right now, we automatically align with everything we desire and our daydreams can become our reality.

Therefore, it's not dangerous to daydream. It's dangerous to NOT daydream. Yes, it is an escape from reality but that's what conscious creators do.

We choose our next adventure, our next engagement, our next smile, our next delight by intentionally daydreaming it into reality.

Congratulations on being a daydreamer. Now, get out of the way and believe in your Divine Right to have those dreams!
