- The President Hotel is one of the largest in Guangzhou, with over 230 rooms and a dining hall that can seat up to 1000 guests. It's about 5 miles from the Pazhou Complex and on the subway lines. Rooms range from smaller "comfort rooms" to duplex suites and each room has Internet access and a safe. Amenities vary between room types.
- The Landmark International Hotel is so-called because of its range of facilities to comfort travelers unfamiliar with China. It offers both Western and Chinese restaurants in one of the busier parts of Guangzhou. The 198 rooms all offer views to this modern metropolis. Room options include superior twin or doubles and deluxe and business suites. The hotel offers a traditional Chinese welcome to all visitors.
- The Pazhou Hotel was built in 2007 and is only a mile from the Pazhou Complex, and easy walk across the river. These inexpensive rooms don't necessarily have windows, though. All rooms include broadband Internet, cable or satellite TV and air conditioning.
- While the Warm Yes Hotel might not be able to complete with some others in Guangzhou for amenities (it only lists phones and Internet access as room features on its website), it is only minutes from the Pazhou Complex on foot. Its rooms are simple, but the hotel has several restaurants and bars, a sauna and a beauty salon. Best of all, you can later tell your friends that you stayed at "Warm Yes." Both single rooms and superior business rooms are available, and prices include breakfast.
