Baggio is one of most talented Italian players in the past 20 years and he is loved by the numerous fans. Baggio was retired in 2004 and away from football, and firstly was against to coach. But from 2010 he gradually changed his mind; in July 2011 he passed the training exam and successfully obtained a UEFA B level coach qualification. In October of the same year, Baggio took part in the coach training courses organized by the Italian Football Federation and finally won the UEFA A-level coaching certificate on this July 5. According to the UEFA regulations, Baggio has been qualified to coach the clubs in Serie A.

With the contacts of Caliendo and his friendship with Roberto Baggio, Baggio was greatly possible to accept to take over the Modena shirt to coach. Caliendo said: €Baggio is the most resounding name of football all over the world; he is a man people cannot forget and it would be a good choice to return to the football field.€

The 45-year-old Baggio in his 16-years career, he played for Fiorentina, Juventus, and AC Milan and Inter Milan clubs. It is a new challenge for him to take off player football shirt and put on the coach Modena football shirt, but we believe with the football talent and potentials, Baggio will be capable for the coaching job and may also become a legend in coaching career.
