How To Get Motivated In Five Easy Steps

When our level of motivation is low we are a like a car without fuel.
Like the car we cannot run on empty so we need to get a top up from somewhere.
The five tips that follow should resolve the problem helping us on our way.
1.
Take all your negative thoughts and imagine yourself putting them in your backpack.
Imagine yourself going for a walk with the backpack on your back.
While walking consider how all these negative thoughts have been a burden and now it's time to do something about it.
Take the backpack off and throw it away.
2.
Think back to the last time you can remember being really motivated about something in your life.
In your mind re-live the experience as though it were happening all over again.
Notice the key triggers that got you and kept you motivated.
Think of another occasion in your life when you were really motivated and repeat the process.
Having distanced yourself from all the negative things in your life and identified some of your motivational trigger's you are now in a place to self-motivate.
3.
Think forward now to one goal you would like to do.
Identify the steps you need to take to make it happen.
Use your motivational triggers and action the first step.
Once achieved see your goal as if it has happened and repeat the process with each step that worked with the first.
Keep going until the goal is achieved.
The feelings that go with completed goals will give your a boost resuling in you being more motivated.
4.
Now do the same with a second goal.
This time make sure that apart from using your trigger's you also get enthusiastic and excited about what you are aiming to achieve.
These emotions are very powerful and they will drive onwards and upwards so long as they are stainable.
5.
Finally help your drive and your emotions with positive affirmations.
You can download affirmation ideas from the internet.
Once your emotions are positively charged and you are proactively taking the necessary actions towards your desired outcomes you will run like a car with a full tank.
In summary then dispose of your negative backpack, use your past good experiences to work on the future.
Thinking forward make your goals and work forward one step at a time towards fulfilling them.
Raise the stakes by tapping into your emotional reserves in particular enthusiasm and excitement.
Enjoy running on a full tank.
