Artificial Plants - Accessorise Your Outside Space

Artificial outdoor plants can instantly improve the appearance of your outside space and with very little involvement and maintenance. If you look closely in many leisure and hospitality spaces, you'll see plants which, at first glance, you think are real but are in fact artificial. They are commonly found inside pubs, restaurants, bars and hotels, but who is to say that they cannot be used as decoratively outside?

By placing matching artificial trees outside the entrance to your establishment it will create a welcoming feature and add a touch of style and class. Topiary trees such as Boxwood Spirals and Bay Laurel Trees would be ideal in this instance. Or, if you would prefer to make a more subtle statement, Boxwood Balls are a fine choice. They will all look stylish when potted in a contemporary black or silver planter.

Many pubs and bars have outside areas, such as courtyards, patio areas and gardens, which are used for dining, drinking and smoking. Why not make this a more inviting space, especially in the summer months, by adding some a splash of colour? Artificial trees make a lovely feature and artificial hanging baskets or patio planters are particularly attractive.

The range of outdoor artificial plants is vast. They range from trees to flowering bushes which can be potted into troughs, window boxes or even straight into the ground. Trees suitable for use outside fall into the topiary range and include boxwood, bay laurel and cedar. Boxwood outdoor artificial plants include spiral trees, pyramids, cones and balls. You can also purchase boxwood hedging which is ideal for creating a natural barrier in your outside area - perfect for creating a sense of privacy or sectioning off VIP areas, for example. Bay Laurel Trees are another excellent choice for use outside, they have more of a rustic appearance compared to the contemporary boxwood style and are available in different sized trees and bush balls. Adding colour to your outside space can be done with artificial hanging baskets, patio planters filled with bright and colourful flowers, and even single bushes - try using a combination of different plants to create your own unique arrangement.

There really is such a choice available on the market when it comes to outside artificial plants. They are all treated with UV spray or made from UV stable materials and will withstand the colder months too making them last for years to come.
